    Calculate Your Steam Wishlist Value

Why Use the Steam Wishlist Calculator?

Most people add games to their Steam wishlist faster than they buy them — and never know the real total until checkout. This calculator adds up the current price of every game on your wishlist, factors in live sale discounts, and shows you exactly what it would cost to clear the whole list, so you can plan your spending around the next Steam sale instead of impulse-buying.

    Know Your Real Total

See the full cost of your wishlist in one number. It's a sobering — and useful — figure that helps you prioritize which games you actually want most before the next big sale arrives.

    See Live Discounts

Because we pull live Steam Store prices, the total drops the moment your wishlisted games go on sale. Compare full price against the sale total to see exactly how much you'd save by buying now.

    Time Your Purchases

Track how your wishlist total moves through Steam's seasonal sales so you can buy each game near its historical low instead of paying full price on release day.

How to Calculate Your Wishlist Value

    1. Enter your Steam profile

Paste your 17-digit SteamID64 or your custom profile URL into the calculator above. The tool reads the wishlist attached to that profile — no account connection needed.

    2. Set your wishlist to public

In Edit Profile → Privacy Settings, make sure your profile (and wishlist) visibility is set to Public. A private wishlist can't be read by any external tool, including this one.

    3. Review the breakdown

You'll get the current total, how much is on sale right now, and the potential savings. Curious what the games you already own are worth? Try the Steam library value calculator next.

Getting the Best Deals on Your Wishlist

Steam prices follow a fairly predictable rhythm. The biggest, most reliable discounts come during the four seasonal sales — Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter — when a large share of the catalog hits its yearly low. Between those, publisher weekends, franchise sales, and midweek deals can discount specific titles just as deeply. A game's best-ever price is usually set during a seasonal sale, and most titles don't fall below it outside those windows, so there's rarely a reason to pay full price on a wishlisted game unless you want it on day one. Recheck your wishlist total when a sale goes live: a large drop means several of your games are discounted at once, which is the ideal moment to buy.

    Steam Wishlist Calculator FAQ

How is my Steam wishlist total calculated?

We read the games on your public Steam wishlist and add up the current Steam Store price of each one. Any game currently on sale is counted at its discounted price, so the total reflects what it would cost to buy everything on your wishlist right now.

Does the total reflect current Steam sale discounts?

Yes. The calculator uses live Steam Store pricing, so during a sale the total drops to reflect active discounts. Comparing the full-price total with the on-sale total is a quick way to see how much a sale would save you.

Why does my wishlist total look wrong?

Common reasons are free-to-play and unreleased titles counting as $0, regional pricing differences, and games that were delisted after you wishlisted them. Make sure your wishlist privacy is set to Public, or the calculator cannot read it.

When is the best time to buy from my wishlist?

The deepest discounts usually land during Steam's seasonal sales — the Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring sales — plus publisher and franchise events throughout the year. Watching your wishlist total fall during these events helps you buy at or near a game's historical low.

Do I need to log in to check my wishlist?

No login is required. Enter your Steam ID or custom profile URL and the calculator reads your public wishlist directly. We never ask for your password and do not store your wishlist.
